August 16, 1995: "REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
The BC Forest Service, Cariboo Fire Center, is taking proposals for the removal of the tower and building located at the Warren Lookout site near Likely. Proposals for the removal of this structure can include salvage rights to the material and must include responsibility for final clean up of the site.
The structure consists of a 15 metre (50 feet) wooden tower and a 4.5 metre by 4.5 metre (14 feet by 14 feet) prefabricated building. The tower is mainly constructed of 4 x 10 pressure treated timbers. Access to the site is via a four-wheel drive road.
Proposals will be accepted up to 2 p.m., Tuesday September 5, 1995." (100 Mile House Free Press)
