BRITISH COLUMBIA LOOKOUTS
HIXON
.
June 4, 1951: “Only new look-out this year is one near Hixon which is getting a department try-out.
The new Hixon look-out covers territory to the north and east up the Fraser River, and is hoped to be the solution for early discovery of fires in the area between Hixon Creek and Prince George.
No development will be made at the Hixon look-out site until it has proved itself successful.” (Prince George Citizen)
