1929: "Near Big Lake Clair, on the limits of the International Paper Company, a suitable location was found for a tower, to cover the territory lying toward the headwaters of the Ste. Anne River, and with the intention of taking in as much as possible toward the National Park at the same time, it was decided to erect on the east side of the Lake. Once erected, it was found that the tower ties in with those in the Division of St. Raymond, Hervay Junction, and Lake Edward admirably well."
