1928: "A steel tower was erected near Lake Edward. This tower of steel, 80 feet high, was completed and in operation towards the beginning of June. It views a large area where circulation is heavy, and constant all Summer, and is a valuable addition to the tower system." (Annual Report of the Laurentian Forest Protective Association)
