1927: Wooden tower constructed.
1939: "The crew (Youth Training Program) also assisted to some extent in the erection of a new 80 foot galvanized steel lookout tower with glass enclosed octagonal shaped cabin replacing Kedgwick wooden tower built in 1927. The project closed on August 31st." "Acknowledgment is particularly made for co-operation in bearing part of the costs of the following project: The Restigouche Company, Limited, in the replacement of Kedgwick Lookout Tower and in repairs to the Kedgwick Forest line." 1948: "The Restigouche Company Ltd. reconstructed the telephone line from Kedgwick Rapids to Kedgwick Tower, a distance of 12 miles and built one mile of bulldozed road to reach Kedgwick Tower by motor truck." (112th Annual Report of the Department of Lands and Mines)
