June 10, 1937: “The Forestry Lookout on Toneko Mountain opened Saturday, 5th. Louis Lavingle who has been lookout-man since this station was erected, packed in with horses his seasons grub and outfit after a busy week clearing the trail and gathering up the telephone wire from where it had been dragged by moose and caribou during the winter.” (Prince George Citizen)
